Before we start with the installation, please make sure that you have a CentOS VPS<\/a> with a static IP address and your system is freshly preinstalled with CentOS 6. Also, please note that there is no official CentOS Web Panel uninstaller, so you will have to re-install your server if you are not happy with it for any reason.<\/p>\n

First thing you need to do\u00a0is to log in to your CentOS VPS<\/a> via SSH as root. There is a nice and valuable guide about how to connect to your Linux VPS via SSH<\/a>, which can be easily followed\u00a0if you do not know how to carry out\u00a0this action. The next step is to perform a fully system upgrade using the yum package manager. Use the following command:<\/p>\n

yum -y update<\/pre>\n
This will update all your system software to the latest version available. Once the update is finished, you can navigate to the \/opt directory on your server using the command:<\/p>\n
cd \/opt<\/pre>\n
Here, you can download the official CentOS Web Panel installer. For that purpose you can use the command:<\/p>\n
wget http:\/\/centos-webpanel.com\/cwp-latest<\/pre>\n
It will take only a few seconds. Once you download the installer on your server, you are ready to start with the installation process. Therefore, execute the following command:<\/p>\n
sh cwp-latest<\/pre>\n
Now, follow the onscreen instructions to continue. Also, you may grab a cup of coffee since the installation could take up to about one hour.
\nWhen the installation is over, it is time to access the CentOS Web Panel on your server. Open your favorite web browser and type:<\/p>\n

Do not forget to replace the IPADDRESS with the IP address of your CentOS VPS<\/a>. We recommend you to access your CentOS Web Panel over https for security reasons. To log in, you can use ‘root’ as user and your root password.<\/p>\n
