Odoo is a suite of open-source enterprise resource planning business tools written in Python. These tools enable businesses to utilize integrated applications for CRM, accounting, finance, point of sale, project management, e-commerce, human resources, and an ever-expanding tool set, all designed to manage their businesses more easily and efficiently. With Odoo Community Edition being open-source and free, you'll see an ROI as soon as you start using it. With a large community of users, discovering everything about Odoo's extensive functionality is made simple.
The ERP and CRM that the world knows and loves started back in 2005 with Fabien Pinckaers, who wanted to become a direct competitor to SAP, an enterprise software company that dominated the market at the time. He started with his small project, called TinyERP, which he worked on for over seven years, adding features that clients would love to have, such as a module system.
Throughout the development process, the name was then changed to OpenERP. Then, in 2010, Mr. Pinckaers received a three million euro investment from Sofinnova Partners, along with Iliad's co-founder, Xavier Niel. The funding was used to hire employees and open their first office in the United States. From there, OpenERP grew in size to over 100 employees. Over the next four years, OpenERP evolved into an excellent Enterprise software platform used worldwide by millions of people. At this point, the name was changed to Odoo.
Today, Odoo serves as an all-in-one platform for all sorts of business applications. From ERP, CRM, e-commerce, and management, Odoo offers thousands of modules that enable it to cater to almost any business's needs.
All Odoo features are organized into modules. In addition to standard modules, there are over 4,000 additional modules that will help you run your business and automate all types of operations. You can always contact us and we will install and optimize any Odoo module for you.
The key feature in our managed Odoo hosting is, you guessed it, our comprehensive managed support team. Our team has extensive experience working with Odoo, providing you with some of the most personalized support available on any server, let alone at this price point. We start by installing any version of Odoo that you want, which is supported by your chosen distribution. Afterward, we can install and set up any necessary modules, including custom-made modules that your business has developed.
Flexibility is another key feature with us. You can always make full use of your Odoo server thanks to having root access by default. This access doesn't need to be requested, and it doesn't affect your ability to use our support team. You can also use a control panel if you like, but we don't recommend doing so for Odoo, as there's no way for Odoo to integrate with a control panel.
Our managed Odoo hosting prioritizes giving you the features that you need - you can use either Odoo community edition or Odoo enterprise edition, whichever suits your needs best. You can also use any modules that you want, including custom modules developed in-house at your business. If Odoo supports it, you can use it.
We also don't limit your server in any way - we set no arbitrary limitations. This means that you can run other programs, services, and software alongside your Odoo installation without worrying about whether your hosting provider would block such behavior. We don't limit the number of services you use - the only limit is the resources of your server. If you reach the limits of your resources, we suggest upgrading as it can be done in-place with no data loss and close to no downtime.
