Ubuntu 12.10 Codenamed Quantal Quetzal

ubuntu-vpsMark Shuttleworth, Ubuntu’s founder has announced the codename for the upcoming Ubuntu release: Ubuntu 12.10 will be called Quantal Quetzal:

In his blog post Mark Shuttleworth gave reasoning behind the codename for Ubuntu 12.10 release, which he says will focus on Quality

Quality comes from focus and clarity of purpose, it comes from careful design and rigorous practices.

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS “Precise Pangolin” is scheduled for release on 26 April 2012.

We plan to support both versions on our Linux virtual servers here at RoseHosting.com once they are publicly available and after they pass our extensive testing for their reliability in a virtual server environment. Once we start offering them they will be announced on our blog as well as the Ubuntu VPS page.
